This video shows how golds are made. Gold is one of most valuable metals. It can be pressed extremely thin without breaking. Gold doesnt affct by water or oxygen as many metals so it doesnt rust and tornish. They come from low deposits which needs hard rock mining. They remove the gold from there by drilling and blasting. Mine engineers know where the gold is so they drill specific area. Golds are not pure. They are with silver and other metals. The interesting part about this video is that from each piece just 6.5g gold can be be obtained. So it is really hard to have enough gold. After blasting rocks, they take small rocks and mix them with water. It pulps the bigger place. Water goes from the top. Zinc powder is added to this mixture which gives the color of gold. A mixture which is called flux is prepared with manganiz dioxide, flouride, silica flavour, bore ax and sodium nitrate. This seperated gold from the impurity. Temperature will be 1600C. They are heated by rotating. It takes 25 hours to heat it. Then it is cooled slightly and is casted into a bar shape molds. It takes 4 minutes to solidify. At this stage it is 80% pure. When we refine the gold it is 99.9% pure.
