This video shows how the umbrellas are made. They measure the diameter of the shaft so they fit perfectly with the handle. He uses 2 springs which is made by nickel silver. They can stand for extreme tension. He make the end of the spring a traingular shape. He cuts two slots in the shaft. He peers a hole on the same place. Spring should fit snugly to open easily so they have to make the right angle for the springs. They put the spring into the slot. They put a runner to open an umbrealla and then they put stopping pin for limiting the runner. They attach a wire on the runner. Then it is time for knotch. They cut 8 triangle pieces. They join these 8 pieces together and then they get 8 metal tips and attach them to the end of the pieces. They put a roset to hide the meeting point of runner and the rips. They attach a tip over the end of the each rip. They check the knotch for any deformation and attach a ring over the knotch for make it more decorative. The most interesting part was making springs and setting them into shaft.
