This video shows how cans of drink are made. Those aluminum cans are recyclable unlike plastic. Aluminum cans are so light and they are made of aluminum sheet which is 5ft width and 10 tons. With this sheet 3 quarters of a million cans can be made. Sheet first goes into the press which cuts round pieces. Punch Press does 2 works first cut round pieces then make them 5inches width cup. Body is formed by another machine. They all move to the washer. 1st and 2nd washer wash with hydrophoric acid at 140C. The other 4 washers wash with deionized water which is neutral water that has no pH. Surfaces seem shiny because of hydrophoric acid. In the next step they go varnishing part. So they can slide easily. It shows blued lid under ultraviolet light. Now they go for printing label on them. In one minute 1800 cans can be produced and varnish. For the inside of thecan they use water based varnish which is not dangerous for health. They all cans go to the machine called flanger to be curled end to the bottoms which is for attaching to pull tab cover. They inspect inside of cans with camera. Any can with doesnt have standards automatically removed from the line. Then they are packed and they are sent to the derinking companies. The interesting part was the number of cans that can be produced with one aluminum sheet.
